Heading into Fall

Fall Colors on Wolfeboro's Back Bay

Now that summer is officially over we embrace autumn. The vibrant colors and not so hot days are a wonderful way to transition into the winter. Enjoy this time of year for hikes and walking on trails because there are less people and the temps are cooler.

Here are photos from Diana's Bath in North Conway. This is a popular destination for outdoorsy people. It is an easy walk and it is very interesting with the water falls.

Another great fall place to explore is Castle in the Clouds. There are many trails of a variety of difficulty. Some are level, and some more intense to see the waterfalls from a lower perspective. Some of these shots are a bit blurry, my apologies, but at least you get the sense that you will see several water falls along the trails.

Many people don't visit New Hampshire in late October through Christmas. This is a great reason to come to New Hampshire. The scenery is beautiful year round. The off-season will offer more space on the trails and less wait times for seats at restaurants. To plan your visit or to explore all that there is to explore in New Hampshire visit NH's State Tourism https://www.visitnh.gov/

Our Cottage on High located in Wolfeboro is available for rent year round. Wolfeboro is a great central location to experience all that NH has to offer while you stay in one lodging and go off for day trips.
