Ocean, Lakes, and Mountains

NH has all the terrain that most people want for a summer vacation: ocean, lakes, and mountains. Vacationers can choose one terrain or experience all in one vacation. A one-week vacation in New Hampshire can provide you with a new experience every day.

Lodging in the Lakes Region will be the best central location if you want to do it all because you will already be in one of the three desired locations. From there, you drive an hour north to the mountains, or you drive just over an hour to the Seacoast. Then a third day trip can be around Lake Winnipesaukee.

Here are links to plan your vacation.

Day at the Seacoast can be spent on the beach, walking a nature preserve, taking a fishing charter, playing arcade games, or strolling through historic downtown Portsmouth.

A day in the Lakes Region can be spent on one of many sandy beaches, jet-skiing, boat rides, playing golf, walking on lakeside trails, or hiking to see scenic vistas of Lake Winnipesaukee.

Spending time the Mount Washington Valley area of the White Mountains will offer much in outdoor recreation such as hiking, tubing, kayaking, and offer you a sweet little village of North Conway to enjoy.

Visit our area links page for recommendations from us for dining and recreation in the Wolfeboro and North Conway areas.
